Believing in happy endings is foolish…or is it?

Scott Walsh has landed the biggest job in the history of Walsh Construction—and he doesn’t intend to blow it, despite the complications in his life.

And now there’s a new distraction—widow Cindy Peterson, whose young son keeps showing up on his construction site. His hardline approach to the boy’s trespassing, however, does not endear him to either mother or son.

But as Scott struggles to keep the project on track while dealing with his ailing grandmother, and as Cindy grapples with a demanding project at work, the two discover that they can help each other meet their respective challenges.

And along the way, might they also discover their own happy ending in the tiny Northern California town of Starfish Bay?
