What’s Cooking? ![]()
I grew up in a family
where meals were a time when we shared not only food, but our lives. Love was
always on the menu, along with the night’s entrée. As a result, food and love
have always been intertwined for me. So each month I share a favorite recipe
from my collection—hoping it will add a little love to YOUR life!
Best Brownies

1 cup butter
6 ounces unsweetened chocolate
2 ½ cups sugar
5 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups flour
1. Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler. Cool 10 minutes.
2. In large mixer bowl, beat sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt. Stir in chocolate mixture. Gradually stir in flour. Pour into greased 9x13-inch pan.
3. Bake at 375 degrees 30-35 minutes.
Yield: About 2 dozen
